Realme 2 Pro was launched with Android Oreo based ColorOS 5.2 in September last year. The smartphone has now appeared with Android Pie on benchmark listing website GeekBench, indicating at the imminent roll out of new update. Notably, the company in November 2018 announced to bring Android Pie update to Realme smartphones.
Listed under model number ‘RMX1801’, the smartphone scored 1453 points in single-core test and 5438 points in multi-core test. It was uploaded on January 30 and shows the benchmark scores for Realme 2 Pro’s 4GB variant. It also states that the device runs on Snapdragon 660 processor. Among other things, the update will bring slow-motion video recording to the Realme smartphone.

Realme 2 Pro smartphone features a 6.3-inch TFT LCD screen of FHD+ resolution with 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The screen also comes with a water drop notch on the top. Users will get dewdrop back cover at the device’s rear side.
It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC AIE processor with Adreno 512 GPU. Realme 2 Pro runs on the company’s own ColorOS 5.2 based on Android Oreo out-of-the box operating system.
The smartphone comes in three different variants - 4GB, 6GB and 8GB RAM. Storage options include 64GB and 128GB which may be expanded further using microSD card support. It houses a 3500mAh battery.
As for the camera is concerned, Realme 2 Pro boasts of a 16-megapixel front camera with AI Beauty 2.0 for selfies. On the back, the device offers two 16-megapixel camera sensors with Artificial Intelligence support.
The
dual-SIM smartphone offers Wi-Fi, GPS, OTG and Bluetooth as connectivity options. Blue Ocean, Black Sea and Ice Lake are the colour options offered by the handset.
