Ghana local league giants, Accra Hearts of Oak have sacked head coach Sergio Traguil after two months of managing the Accra based club ghanaguardian.com can confirm.

The club have experienced a retrogression in results since the Portuguese tactician took over from Japanese-American coach Kenechi Yatsuhashi.

With 3 games to end the GHPL, Yaw Preko who served as assistant coach under both immediate past managers has been given the nod to salvage the Phobians from a possible out-of top-four finish.

The move has been hugely speculated in Ghana's football circles considering the unpopular decision by Hearts Strategic Management to mutually part ways with Kenechi.

The ousted coach was reportedly asked by the club's management to take over the team's junior ranks-Auroras. A move Mr Traquil could not come to terms with.

Hearts were out muscled in a 3:1 battering by Bechem United in far away Ahafo. The heartbreaking scoreline put the Phobians hopes of ending their seven year league drought into turmoil.
