Ghanaian midfielder Reuben Acquah has departed Croatian side Locomotive Zagreb after spending just a year at the Croatian giants.

This has been confirmed by the player himself after struggling to break into the Croatian side.

“Yes I’ve left, Locomotive Zagreb on June 15th, my agent is talking to about 5 clubs in Europe, I will announce my next destination soon” Reuben told Halftimegh.com.

Acuqah has left the club after one season, having joined them in September 2020 from LASK.

The 24-year-old failed to impress as he commanded just six appearances across all competitions.

The former Liberty Professional player's next destination is at the moment unknown but he is expected to continue plying his trade in Europe.

He moved to Europe in 2017 and has thus far featured for seven clubs including KV Mechelen.
