Accra Hearts of Oak Goalkeeper Richard Attah had a wonderful on the pitch celebration with his wife Joyce Annan Attah after aiding the Phobians into FA Cup victory.

The Phobians won their eleventh FA Cup title after a dramatic penalty shootout which Attah spectacularly saved two with his hands.

He became the hero of the day after a dramatic save of a penalty which could have shifted victory to Ashgold.

He stopped Ashgold from victory and it had Hearts of Oak's last hit.

The former Okyeman Planners shot-stopper watched Kofi Mensah blaze his shot over the cross bar as the Phobians claim their sixth historic double.

Attah and Joyce walked down the aisle in September last year after the cancellation of the league due to Covid-19 pandemic.

After Sunday's game he and the wife made a wonderful  on-the-pitch celebration to mark a historic day in the life of the former Elmina Sharks goalkeeper.

Hearts of Oak have won a double for a record sixth time after beating AshantiGold 8-7 on penalties at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday evening.

The regulation time ended 0-0 and Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Richard Attah emerged the hero of the night as he saved a decisive penalty from Seth Osei before blasting a thunderous shot past Kofi Mensah.

Richard Attah, not as fans favourite like the legendary Sammy Adjei nor Ali Jarrah, but he goes down in history as one of the Goalkeeper of the Phobian who put up a fantastic display in a year the Phobians grabbed their sixth double after 12 years hiatus.
