The Ghana Football Association(GFA) says that Black Stars number one goalie and second deputy skipper, goalkeeper Richard Ofori did not turn up for Ghana's two friendly games due to injury concerns.

The Orlando Pirates goalkeeper suffered a groin injury in March in a CAF Confederations Cup match against ES Setif and has still not recovered from the groin injury sustained.

Ghana will face Morocco on Tuesday June 8 before taking on neighbours Ivory Coast on Saturday 12 June at the Cape Coast Stadium.

"He sustained a groin injury during his club’s (Orlando Pirates) CAF Confederation Cup game against ES Setif in March this year. The lanky goalkeeper is now recovering from the setback." the GFA said.

Aside the aforementioned developments, the team has safely arrived in Rabat for Tuesday’s game against Morocco. Twenty five (25) players including captain Andre Ayew made the trip to the North African country.
