Ghana's Joseph Paintsil could be moving to the Turkish Super Lig on loan should  Caykur Rizespor agree to €600,000 fee being asked for KRC Genk.

Paintsil plays for Turkish club Ankaragücü on loan from Genk, but Caykur Rizespor are reportedly plotting a move for the  winger in the upcoming summer transfer window, but that will be not more than a year load deal.

The Turkish side have contacted Belgian top-flight league giants KRC Genk over a potential summer acquisition of Ghanaian forward Joseph Paintsil after an explosive debut season in the Turkish Super Lig.

Paintsil's incredible campaign with relegated side MKE Ankaragucu has attracted him interests from several clubs in the Turkish Super Lig.

According to Turkish tabloid Sporx, officials of Caykur Rizespor have commenced negotiations with the Belgian powerhouse over a possible signing of the 23-year-old winger this summer.

KRC Genk have asked Caykur Rizespor to cough up €600,000 to acquire the former Ghana U20 star on a season-long loan deal after their initial offer of €400,000 was turned down earlier this week.

Paintsil managed to score eleven goals in his 33 game outings for MKE Ankaragucu in the just ended Turkish Super Lig season.

His current contract with KRC Genk will expire in the summer of 2022.
