Romania-based Ghanaian defender Isaac Donkor has brushed aside interests from other European clubs insisting he’s focused on achieving success with Universitatea Craiova.

The former Inter Milan youth skipper has been over stupendous for the Romanian side, guiding them to the 3rd spot of the Liga 1 table and emerging the second strongest defensive side after 15 games.

With interest growing from other European clubs, Donkor insists he is focused on his immediate assignment at Criaova and not on any move now.

“Honestly, I am interested in helping Craiova and doing my best for the club now. Whatever God has for me in the future, I shall welcome. But now, my focus is on Craiova,” he told 442gh.com in an interview.

He adds that he will be ready to accept challenges and move but the focus this season is on Criaova.

“Just like I said earlier, God knows what tomorrow holds. So I trust in God and hope he gives me the best. I will be ready to accept all challenges but God is the one who will choose the best for me.”

Donkor has been one of the few Ghanaian players in Europe who have been very consistent this season.
