The Romanian press have made mockery of reports emanating from Ghana that Sulley Muniru is set to join Kumasi Asante Kotoko in his native country Ghana.

Multiple new outlets in the European nation including Telekom Sport have ridiculed the idea that the defensive midfielder is on the verge of signing for Kotoko

The move is unfathomable as a player who is in his prime age of 27 years and has spent the last seven years in Europe will head home.

Muniru Sulley who is the younger brother of former AC Milan and Inter Milan star Sulley Muntari has been without a club since leaving Russia side Tambov FC in July this years with reports suggesting that he is on the brink of joining Ghana's most successful club Kumasi Asante Kotoko.

Sariki has had stints with Tondela in the Portuguese Primeira Liga,Yeni Malatyaspor in Turkey and FC Dinamo Minsk in Belarus.

The capture of 27 year old Sulley Muniru will reportedly  end Asante Kotoko’s interest in Justice Blay whose parent club,Medeama have reported Asante Kotoko to the GFA for inducing their player.
