Chattanooga Red Wolves' Ghanaian forward, Ropapa Mensah, made an impact in the American USL Champions league on Saturday night, scoring a goal to help his team secure a 3-1 win over Lexington SC.

Despite missing out on a starting role in the Week seven match of the 2023 season, Mensah was introduced into the game in the 59th minute when both teams were struggling to gain an advantage.

In the 78th minute, Lexington took the lead with a goal from Seo-In-Kim, but Chattanooga Red Wolves quickly responded with an equalizer from Nicolas Cardona just two minutes later. Mensah then scored a brilliant goal to give his team a 2-1 lead.

Chattanooga Red Wolves continued to dominate the game and secured their win with a goal from Mayele Malango during added time.

While Mensah's role in the match began from the bench, his contribution to the team's success was significant, and his goal played a critical part in securing the much-deserved victory for Chattanooga Red Wolves.
