Abdul Mumin, the suspended coach of Real Tamale United (RTU), has shed light on the club's failure to compensate him for salaries and bonuses dating back to the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season.

Mumin's revelation follows his expulsion from the club amidst allegations of match-fixing, triggering an internal probe by RTU.

Speaking with Akoma FM, Mumin expressed disappointment and frustration, citing his dedication to the club over the years while being left unpaid.

"We reached a mutual termination. I couldn't resign because they owe me a lot of money. That includes unpaid salaries and bonuses from the 2022/23 and 2023/24 seasons. We've only received payment for March this year," Mumin disclosed.

He highlighted his commitment to RTU, emphasizing his efforts in nurturing young players and the team's progress. However, Mumin lamented the lack of recognition and assistance, particularly concerning the unpaid wages.

"I volunteered my coaching license to support the team's development. There were instances where players were paid, but I wasn't. To be accused of match manipulation is deeply distressing," Mumin expressed.

Regarding the match-fixing allegations, fans had demanded an investigation after the team's loss to Nsoatreman earlier in the month. Disappointed supporters believed the coach's substitutions aimed to weaken the team, leading to a 2-1 defeat after conceding a 1-0 lead.

Despite the challenges, Mumin remains hopeful that RTU will promptly address the issue and settle the outstanding payments owed to him.
