The NDC has dared the President of the republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo to for once demonstrate his ‘so called’ high ground of fighting corruption by sacking outright the suspended Public Procurement Authority (PPA) boss Mr. AB Agyei and also dissolve outright board of directors of the Authority.

The opposition NDC made these demands in its Moment of truth series a programme where they purport to make naked the truth.

Investigative journalist Manasseh Azure Awini in a documentary dubbed ‘contracts for sale’ caught on tape the PPA boss selling of state contracts at exorbitant fees to a company belonging to himself.

According to the NDC they have no faith in the matter been sent to the Special Prosecutor after the SP Martin Amidu coming out to say that he is been frustrated in his work by state institutions.

Speaking at the programme for the party was head of communications, Sammy Gyamfi.

Among their demands catalogued include the immediate dismissal of Mr. AB Agyei rather than the ‘mild’ suspension handed him.

They are also seeking the dissolution of the board of PPA for sleeping on their job and also the suspension of all MMDA’s and agencies who played any role in aiding and abetting the crime.

The NDC finally adds that they also demand the immediate arrest and prosecution of Mr. AB Agyei, the general manager of TBL, directors and other shareholders of the company used as a vehicle to sell off state contracts to the highest bidder.
