Sadat Karim now plies his trade in Sweden for  Halmstads BK, but before embarking on his sojourn abroad he played on the local scene for Hearts of Oak among others.

He says he had a lot of affection for the capital basaed club even before he signed for them in 2012.

His stay with his beloved Hearts of Oak was ill fated as he played for only a single season at the club due to injuries and poor form.

During his single season with the club he scored six goals in 25 matches in the 2012/2013 season before leaving to join Inter Allies.

Speaking in an interview with Asawase-Kumasi based Haske Radio he revealed that he wished he had stayed longer at Hearts but change in coaches and injuries meant he had to move on.

"Hearts of Oak even before I joined them was a club I cherished so much because I started supporting them at a tender age. So I was very excited when I heard they needed me those days."

"I first came to meet a white coach who loved me so much, in fact he brought me to the club but got sacked along the way. I also played under CK Akonnor and David Duncan, It was a good time with them cos they liked my style but due to injuries, I had to at point leave and join Inter Allies."

He has since played for Swedish outfit BW 90 IF, and local side Inter Allies.
