Two-factor authenticationGmail offers two-step verification that acts as an extra layer of security your account. With this feature, users need a password and a verification code that is sent to their registered mobile number to be able to get into their inbox.

Download apps on Google Play Google asks users to download apps only from its Play Store as they are covered under the Google Play Protect. This tool checks apps and also the smartphone to keep out malicious programs. " In 2017 alone, we took down more than 700,000 apps that violated Google Play policies, 70 percent more than the apps taken down in 2016.
