Hearts of Oak midfielder Salim Adams delivered an outstanding performance over the weekend as his team battled to a 1-1 draw against Nsoatreman FC in a thrilling Ghana Premier League match-day 12 encounter.

The match saw Stephen Diyou give the visitors an early lead, but Adams responded with a thunderous free-kick, showcasing his skill and precision to bring the Phobians level.

The score remained unchanged through a fiercely contested encounter at the University of Ghana Stadium.

In a post-match interview, Adams expressed his joy over the goal and credited his consistent training efforts for the spectacular strike.

"I have been practicing my long-range shots at training, so it didn't surprise me when I scored the free-kick.

I will continue to work extra harder," the midfielder shared.

The result extends Hearts of Oak's unbeaten streak to four matches, leaving them in sixth place on the league table with 19 points.

The Rainbow Club now turns its attention to the highly anticipated clash against arch-rivals Asante Kotoko on December 13, 2024, as they aim to maintain their strong form in the league.
