Former Black Queens forward Samira Suleman has successfully completed her UEFA Certificate in Football Management.
The Ghanaian international pursued her coaching education in Iceland, where she played for Vikingur Olafsvik and currently coaches a youth team.
Suleman, who previously starred for Hasaacas Ladies in the Ghana National Women's League, enrolled in the UEFA Certificate in Football Management program to enhance her managerial skills.
She expressed her pride on social media, stating, "I am proud to have completed the UEFA CFM. It's a prestigious program by UEFA Academy and the Université de Lausanne," and noted that she received her certificate "with merit."
Throughout her playing career, Samira represented Ghana on various international stages, including the 2016 Africa Women's Cup of Nations and the 2015 African Games in Congo.
Her club career included stints in Ghana, Sweden, Iceland, and a period in the United States with the Robert Morris Eagles.
Suleman's achievement coincides with that of fellow Ghanaian footballer Michael Essien, who also completed the same course this week, highlighting a growing trend of Ghanaian talent gaining managerial expertise in European football.
