Former Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Sammy Agyei has taken a swipe at the Rainbow Club for his dwindled career.

The former Ghana international had his sensational return to the Ghanaian giants blocked after management of the Club refused to re-sign him.

Agyei was reported to have agreed on returning to his former Club only for the deal to hit snag.

The 34-year-old is aggrieved by the decision of Hearts of Oak to deny him an opportunity to return to Club football.

“I am very disappointed, I have helped the Club win five League titles and also helped them to win the Champions League, the Confederations Cup and Super Cup,” he told Kasapa FM.

“And for them to deny me of a returning to the Club I think is not the best.

“I almost registered for the Club but they later gave me some excuses which I think was not right.”

The goalkeeper was recently linked to the goalkeepers trainer job at Hearts of Oak.
