Great Olympics have re-signed young defender Samuel Abbey-Ashie Quaye for the second round of the Ghana Premier League season.

The player who is owned by Attram De Visser Academy had an issue with the wonder club and so was not registered for the 2021/2022 season.

He underwent trials with Swiss giants FC Basel but failed to impress and has made a return to Ghana.

Great Olympics have swiftly moved in to re-sign the player who featured for them last season where they exceeded expectations with their performance.

He was unveiled by the club in the presence of his manager Godwin Attram and CEO of Great Olympics Oluboi Commodore.

The wonder club have failed to pick off from where they left off last season as they currently lie 7th on the league log after losing to Kotoko last week.

Great Olympics will face city neighbours Accra Hearts of Oak on Sunday in their match day 16 clash.
