Ghanaian midfielder Samuel Darpoh was named the man of the match in Amazulu's 1-1 drawn game against Highland Park FC in the South African PSL on Saturday.

The midfielder was integral as his side Amazulu shared the spoils against Highland Park FC at the Lucas Moripe stadium in a relegation six pointer game in the last round of games.

It was such a valuable point for the home side Amazulu as it ensured their continuous stay in the South African topflight.

Amazulu needed just a point to stay up and it duly arrived as they opened the scores through Siphilele Magubbane in the 28th minute before the away side grabbed a late equalizer in the 90th minute through Peter Shalulile.

Usuthu placed 13th with 30 points after 30 round of matches and Darpoh was duly rewarded following his man of the match displays.
