Ghanaian youth international Samuel Obeng is delighted to return to his club, Real Oviedo following his maiden engagement in international football with his country's Under 23 team.

The Youngster was one of the brightest spots for the Black Meteors in their unsuccessful bid to qualify for next year's Olympic games in Tokyo, Japan.

Speaking in an interview after he return to his club, Obeng revealed that it is good feeling seeing his team mates again.

"The return with the group, well. There is a good feeling and the companions make you feel as if you had not left", the young attacker said.

"I am eager to take advantage of the fact that I am in a good personal moment and I have all the predisposition to take the necessary step forward and contribute to the team.

"We have missed many points, but it can be reversed. Both the first team and the Vetusta are trained for it", Obeng added.

Twelve years after leaving Ghana as a child, Samuel Obeng returned to his country of birth with the U23 National Team.

Despite Ghana missing out on the Olympics, his call up to the Black Meteors was regarded by many as a worthy one due to his outstanding performance.

He has now return to El Requexón, where he alternates his role as forward reference in the Vetusta with his contributions to the Real Oviedo first team.

Javi Rozada has included him in the dynamics of the first team this week and the Ghanaian arrives willing to contribute everything the club needs from him.
