Black Stars winger Samuel Owusu helped Saudi Arabian Pro League  side Al Fayha record a 2-0 win over Al-Tai FC on Saturday after his return to the side following Ghana's AFCON exit.

The Ghanaian winger was part of the Black Stars squad who disgracefully bowed out of the African Cup of Nations(AFCON) tournament in Cameroon at the group stages after defeat to Comoros Island.

Owusu provided the assist for his side's second goal at the at the Al Majma'ah Sports City Stadium to seal the results.

The opener was scored by Malek Al Abdalmoneim on the 9th minute of the game after the intense pressure from the host paid off.

Four minutes after the restart, the Ghanaian winger supplied the second goal for Nigerien Amadou Moutari to make sure of the score line.

The Ghanaian who returned from the AFCON few days ago was hauled off with 20 minutes to end the game as he was replaced by Yousef Saad Al Harbi.

His compatriot John Boye lasted the entire duration of the game as they won 2-0.
