CEO of SarkCess Music and Ghana’s most decorated artiste, Michael Owusu Addo, popularly known in showbiz circles as Sarkodie, has reacted to the notion people have about him being stingy.

The multiple award-winning rapper indicated that the perception people had about him was entirely untrue because he did a lot of things he rather kept on the low.

Speaking in an interview with Andy Dosty on Accra-based Hitz FM, the 'Can't Let You Go' singer revealed that he was not happy about that particular perception people had about him.

He however maintained that there was very little he could do to change the situation since people normally believed whatever they wanted. But he ruled out the fact that he did not like parting with money.

The rapper reportedly went on to added add that he was not in the business of flaunting his 'good deeds' on social media for all to see and give him credit for them maintaining that he was not going to be happy to receive 'earthly' praise.

He added that he was not living his life to please anyone even though he felt rather disturbed by the 'albatross' that had been hung around his neck.

Sarkodie was recently in the news after he took to social media to make some political statements and recommended 'dictatorship' for the country.

He also requested to have a one-on-one meeting with President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

After a series of tweets, his wife, Tracy Owusu-Addo, made a tweet and asked for forgiveness for her husband after he received some backlash from social media users.

The rapper made waves with his 'Biibi Ba' song after he featured some 10 underground Ghanaian rappers on it.

Sarkodie is set to stage his annual Rapperholic Concert on December 25, 2018 and it reported that award-winning journalist, Nana Aba Anamoah would host the night of music.
