Ghanaian youngster, Felix Afena-Gyan is attracting interest from Italian Serie A side Sassuolo as replacement for Atlanta bound Ivorian winger Jeremie Boga during the winter transfer window.

The youngster has been a revelation since he was handed a debut by AS Roma Coach Jose Mourinho against Cagliari in November this year.

Afena-Gyan ended up scoring a brace and has since become a mainstay in the first team although most of his appearances have been from the bench.

Sassuolo are keen to initially sign the youngster on loan with the promise of more first team football something which he is not getting at AS Roma.

Despite scoring two goals in 5 matches mostly from the bench, the 18 year old has not started a league game playing second fiddle to English striker Tammy Abraham.

AS Roma will have to decide if they want to let go of their prodigious talent in the middle of the season after making his breakthrough into the first team.

Sassoulo have sold former Chelsea academy graduate Jeremie Boga for 22 million Euros and will officially move in January.
