Antoine Semenyo says he will be watching closely when Arsenal face Brentford, after helping Manchester City tighten the Premier League title race with a 3–0 win over Fulham.

The Ghanaian forward opened the scoring on the night, setting City on their way to a comfortable victory that reduced the gap at the top of the table to three points.

Speaking to TNT Sports after the match, Semenyo admitted attention would quickly turn to Arsenal’s fixture.

“Just going to sit tight, watch the game [Brentford vs Arsenal] tomorrow, and hopefully it goes our way. So let’s see,” he said.

City’s win piled pressure on the league leaders, who now have the chance to restore their advantage to six points when they travel to Brentford on Thursday evening.

Semenyo’s early strike against Fulham once again underlined his importance in City’s attacking setup. With the title race entering a decisive phase, every goal and every result is taking on added significance.

For now, City have done their part. The focus shifts to Arsenal, and Semenyo, like many City supporters, will be watching and waiting.
