Midfielder Sherif Mohammed has officially said his goodbyes to Asante Kotoko after parting ways with the club.

The versatile 22-year-old leaves the Ghanaian giants following a commendable three-year spell, during which he played a crucial role in the team's success.

Sherif joined Asante Kotoko in August 2021 from Steadfast FC and made significant contributions, helping the club secure the Premier League title during his tenure.

Taking to social media, he expressed his gratitude, stating, “I'm grateful to Asante Kotoko SC, its management, coaches, players, and fans for three incredible years with this great club.

As my contract ends today, I reflect on the unforgettable memories, experiences, and growth. I wish the club the best this season. Cheers.”

His departure comes after an unfortunate accident that sidelined him for several months prior to the start of the second round of the 2023/24 season.

Over his time with Kotoko, Sherif made 61 appearances, scoring two goals and providing four assists. His contributions will be remembered as he embarks on the next chapter of his career.
