Award winning Shirley Frimpong-Manso has proven she is synonymous with quality movies as the renowned Ghanaian film maker has released another quality movie.
The movie which is based on a true life story has been christened “Us In Between” and talks about the coronavirus pandemic and how it has impacted the lives of humanity
‘Us In Between’ was co-produced by Shirley Frimpong-Manso and Ken Attoh for Sparrow Productions, with a wide array of stars such as John Dumelo, Lydia Forson, Adjetey Anang, Oscar Provencal, Gloria Sarfo, Senanu Gbedawu all among the cast.
Others in the star studded cast includes veteran David Dontoh, Nikki Samonas, Mary Yirenkyi and Michelle Attoh.
The movie is about a nurse in Ghana who has found a new love but with the world on the brink of a global pandemic tells the management of his hospital to tighten their belts and prepare earnestly for the pandemic ahead.
With her city recording its first case of the virus, she is put to test whether to choose her profession or her romantic relationship as things begin o look gloomy.
According to Shirley, some scenes of the movie were shot during the lockdown period in Ghana, braving all the challenges and risks to pull it through.
She hopes the movie which has been dedicated all front line workers who have been at the fore front of fighting the plague will reach the whole world which is reeling from the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The movie is expected to hit various online digital movie platforms in the coming days.
