President of the Ghana Football Association(GFA), Kurt Okraku says that you cannot decouple the singing of 'jama' from our local football as they are inextricably intertwined.

He says it is even more prevalent at the grassroots level where almost every team before games get into the hot jama session before games.

The GFA boss made this known on Wednesday at the GFA secretariat at the launch of the Juvenile Football League.

“If you are a colt player, if you are a club administrator, if you’ve ever been involved in colts football, then you should know how to sing because singing has always been part of our colts football,” the head huncho of the football association said prior to his opening remarks while singing himself.

The programme was well attended with the Technical Director of the Ghana Football Association – Bernhard Lippert with support from Executive Council members, Dr. Randy Abbey, and Samuel Anim Addo – Vice Chairman of the Juvenile Committee all in attendance.

The 2020/21 Juvenile football League will commence on the weekend of May, 7/8/9 2021.
