Fatawu Issahaku cost Sporting, in March this year, a total of 1.3 million euros - 1.2 million for Steadfast FC, from Ghana, and another 100 thousand euros in commissions - but SAD leonina (Sporting's sports company ) has 50 percent of future sale value.

These were the values officially communicated by Sporting's SAD on Tuesday, in the communication to the Portuguese Securities Market Commission (CMVM) of the report for the third quarter of the 2021/2022 season.

According to Portuguese publication  ABOLA, in the deal made earlier this year, the Leonine administration safeguarded a future investment in the player, as it had already done, for example, in the summer, with Manuel Ugarte.

In other words, in addition to having paid 1.2 million euros for 100 percent of Fatawu's rights, Sporting, have guaranteed from Steadfast FC the possibility of acquiring the other 50 percent of a future sale for 2.5 million euros.

In this way, if the young winger, only 18 years old, confirms all credentials in Alvalade, it could result in a total investment of 3.8 million euros to Sporting.
