The Ministry of Youth and Sports has sent  goodwill message to the Black Meteors team who are currently in Egypt for the Afcon U-23 tournament which kicks off Friday evening.

Ghana is drawn in Group A with Cameroon, host nation Egypt and Mali to battle it out of the group for a place in the last three for the Olympic games.

In a letter dated 7th November 2019 and released in Accra, it reads:

The Minister of Youth and Sports,Hon. Isaac Kwame Asiamah on behalf of Government and the people of Ghana extends a goodwill message to the National U-23 Football team,the Black Meteors ahead of the 2019 Africa U-23 Nations in Egpyt ,scheduled from Friday 8-22 November 2019"
