BET award-winning act Stonebwoy has commended ‘Discovery of the Year’ nominee for the 2018 Ghana DJ Awards, DJ Ikon for his exceptional skills on the turntables.

The Hitz FM Disk Jockey who was mixing tunes late in the afternoon on Tuesday grabbed the attention of many including the ‘Bawasaaba’ hitmaker.

Stonebwoy while listening tweeted at the official twitter handle of Hitz 103.9FM expressing his excitement indicating that the show was literally on ‘fire’.

DJ Ikon is canvassing for votes to win the ‘Discovery of the Year’ award at the 2018 Ghana DJ Awards which will take place on May 5, 2018.

Born Kwabena Koduah, the young DJ takes charge of all selections and mixing on 'Cruise Control' on Hitz FM every weekday between 4 pm and 7 pm.

He takes over the airwaves on Saturdays with the Mixtape Show from 12 pm to 4 pm on Hitz FM aside performing at events all over Ghana.

DJ Ikon began his career while in Focus Radio School and has steadily built a reputable brand for himself.
