One of the most disgruntled signees of Zylofon Music, Stonebwoy, will finally get his way when his contract ends this year.

The bad blood between Stonebwoy and his record label began when the record label signed his industry rival, Shatta Wale in a grand unveiling contrary to his modest unveiling.

Confirming the exit, Public Relation Officer of Zylofon Music, Arnold Asamoah Baidoo has said the 'Top Skanka' hitmaker will leave the label early this year as his contract expires.

Explaining Stonebwoy’s contract expiration on Kumasi based Abusua FM, the PRO said the four-year contract with Zylofon Music was revised to one year, so the ‘Most Original’ hitmaker is set to part ways with the label by May this year if he decides not to extend his working relationships with the label.

“Stonebwoy’s contract was reviewed from four years to a year. In May 2019 his contract with Zylofon Music will expire. But all other artistes’ contracts remain at four years.” Arnold Asamoah Baidoo said on Abusua FM

Things at the label became uncomfortable when the 2015 BET award winner got involved in a nasty brawl with A&R manger of Zylofon Music, Bulldog at the Paloma hotel in Accra on Saturday March 10.

Bulldog and his men allegedly tried to violently seize keys of Stonebwoy’s Mercedes from his brother.

The turmoil at Champs Bar which was allegedly triggered by a brawl between some staff of Zylofon Media and Stonebwoy’s camp, got nasty when the BET award winner fired shots after personnel of Zylofon Media forcefully tried to retrieve a Mercedes Benz from the artiste.
