Dancehall musician, Stonebwoy has descended heavily on a social media user who accused him of killing his mother.

Stonebwoy had shared a photo of his late mother Catherine, to celebrate what would have been her 62nd birthday if she were still alive.

"Happy Birthday Mummy ❤ Thanks For Giving Me Life.. My sisters And My Brother.. Thanks For Giving The World STONEBWOY!! 62 years And Counting!! Continue to Rest In Peace. ➕ Forever in My Heart Mind And Soul.. You Taught Me To Be STRONG ," he captioned the photo on his Instagram page.

While many of Stonebwoy's fans took to the post to wish 'Mama Stonebwoy' a happy birthday, there was one very odd comment.

The odd comment coming from the handle @Shattagooso read: @stonebwoyb "U kill am finish, u hear [here] saying hbd" which means 'after killing his mother Stonebwoy is now on social media wishing her a happy birthday'.

This infuriated Stonebwoy who dared @Shattagooso to come and say that to his.

"I dare you to say this in my face any day. I live in East Legon. U r calmly invited," the Dancehall musician replied.

This took away the focus on the real post to @Shattagosoo, whose name points to him being a Shatta Wale fan, as Stonebwoy's fans descended heavily on him.

One fan, @princetfo advised Stonebwoy to ignore the negative comment but obviously angry, he came to write: "@princetfo chale I only wish these FOOLS can gladly accept my invitation to come say this to my face."

And attacks on @Shattagosoo from fans follwed in droves.

Stonebwoy's mother Mrs. Catherine Satekla passed on at the 37 Military Hospital in Accra Wednesday, July 29, 2015.

Known to have been close to his mother, Stonebwoy was reported to been devasted by her death.

But with time he has recovered and has even honoured her memory by naming his first daughter after the late mother in addition to dedicating his 2017 album, Epistles of Mama (EOM) to her.

Simply put, Stonebwoy is somebody who would have anything possible to save his mother. It therefore, comes a surprise that someone will make such a claim.

But coming from a Shatta Wale fan, it is likely just one of those social media trolls.
