Yusif Chibsah who represents the interest of Portuguese kit manufacturers strike has debunked rumours swelling around that they have mutually terminated their contract with Asante Kotoko.

Rumours have been rife in the local media about strike mutually cutting short their partnership with Kotoko.

Since the new board and CEO came to Kotoko rumours have intensified that they will annul the deal but according to Chibsah he has held talks with the new CEO and they have agreed to allow the existing contract elapse before decided on the next step.

“These are wrong reports from the media. I had a meeting with the Kotoko Chief Executive Officer and we all agreed to make the deal continue till it expires,” he told Oyerepa FM.

Kotoko signed a three-year deal with Strike in 2018.
