Kumasi Asante Kotoko have handed a two year contract extension to young striker Osman Ibrahim.

The youngster joined the porcupine warriors from lower tier side Asokwa Deportivo in 2018 but was quickly shipped out on loan to Liberty Professionals where things did not go well as planned.

In the 2019/2020 season he went on loan once more this time to King Faisal where he shinned and scored for fun in the Ghana Premier League.

He was the club's leading goalscorer before the 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League season was truncated due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Osman Ibrahim started the season very well at Kotoko scoring in key games including the preliminary stages of the CAF Champions League against FC Nouadhibou.

The striker was crocked by an injury that saw him sidelined for more than four months as he missed the initial stages of coach Mariano Barreto's reign.

Osman Ibrahim and his representatives will in the coming days sign the dotted lines.
