Ghanaian and Brighton defender Tariq Lamptey has been recognized as the English club's Player of the Month for October due to his exceptional performance.

As a reward, the dynamic full-back has received a Porsche car from Porsche Centre Mid-Sussex after being named Brighton and Hove Albion's emerging Player of the Month for October.

Lamptey played a crucial role in the Seagulls' victory against Manchester United, contributing with a pair of assists at Old Trafford, and played a key role in the comeback draw in the Europa League match against French giants Olympique Marseille.

He provided two assists in the 3-1 triumph at Old Trafford and played a significant role in the 2-2 draw at the Stade Velodrome.

Despite being sidelined for over two weeks following an injury sustained in the Marseille game in France, he is expected to make a return in the Europa League game against Ajax Amsterdam on Thursday.

Lamptey had to withdraw from the team at the last minute, which traveled to Merseyside and secured a draw with Everton.

His recovery from injury is a significant boost for the Ghanaian national team as they prepare for the commencement of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
