The Tema Development Company (TDC) Limited has unveiled a bold new suite of customer-focused services, including a 24-hour call centre and two premium service tiers—Prestige and Premium—as part of a sweeping effort to modernize public real estate delivery in Ghana.
The launch, held in Tema, Ghana’s first planned city and an emblem of industrial progress, brought together a distinguished gathering of stakeholders, including the President of the Republic, ministers of state, members of the diplomatic corps, traditional authorities, and business leaders.
Delivering the keynote address, Minister for Works and Housing, Kenneth Gilbert Adjei, praised the initiative as a significant leap forward in the digitization and reform of public sector services.
“Establishing a fully operational 24-hour call centre and top-tier service models sets a new benchmark in public housing delivery—professional, responsive, and inclusive,” he said.
The minister stressed that housing solutions must not only provide shelter but also promote equity, dignity, and opportunity in an increasingly urbanized Ghana.
Speaking at the event, Courage Kweku Makafui Nunekpeku, Acting Managing Director of TDC Ghana Ltd, described the initiative as part of a national movement toward a 24-hour economy, driven by accessibility, service excellence, and innovation.
“We are not just launching services—we’re embracing a new mindset. One that places clients at the heart of everything we do,” she said.
The new client service model includes:
24/7 access via phone, email, and online chat
Prestige Service, offering personalized relationship management and doorstep delivery
Premium Service, providing expedited walk-ins with VIP treatment
A dedicated despatch unit for same-day deliveries in Accra and Tema, with international courier coordination for clients abroad
These offerings are designed to serve high-net-worth individuals, executives, investors, and the Ghanaian diaspora, positioning TDC as a forward-thinking institution in public housing and urban development.
Stakeholders lauded the launch as a game-changer—one that could boost investor confidence, create new employment opportunities, and raise standards across the real estate and public service sectors.
In his closing remarks, Minister Adjei reiterated the government’s full support, calling on residents, businesses, and the diaspora to embrace the upgraded platforms as part of a broader vision for inclusive, resilient urban communities.
TDC’s move to 24-hour operations is seen as a pivotal milestone—blending the company’s historic role in Ghana’s urban development with a renewed focus on efficiency, client satisfaction, and innovation.
