Division One League side Techiman City FC have reportedly withdrawn from the National Division One League.

The club have supposedly taken this decision as a result of what they term as witch hunting and bad treatment being meted out to them by the powers that be at the GFA.

Despite playing about 23 matches, Ghanasportspage.com are reporting that the club have decided to pull out of the National Division One League.

The club failed to honour its match day 23 game against Steadfast FC over the weekend at the Aliu Mahama Stadium but they did not turn up.

According to reports, the club will in the coming days come out with an official statement stating that they have opted out of the National Division One League.

The club have in the past accused the GFA of having some vendetta against the club with the club President an avid critic of the Kurt Okraku led administration.

Techiman City is currently in 15th place in the league table with 14 points after 22 games.
