Captain of the Black Stars Andre Ayew has lauded the massive support and love showed them by the teeming crowd in Cape Coast during their brief stay in the capital of the Central Region.

The team moved to Cape Coast last Tuesday and have been camping and preparing for the game which they won two nil on Thursday.

Fans have followed and thronged the Black Stars wherever they have been since moving to Ghana's first capital town.

Speaking after the game the skipper of the Black Stars was effusive with praises for the supporters.

" We want to thank all the people in Cape Coast and thank all the fans that came to the stadium, you see that the stadium was packed and all the people were cheering us"

"Since we came here the reception has been great and we  really felt loved and felt at home and with the performances that we showed today"

"One thing that I can say is that we will come back and play again in Cape Coast but I can't say when but for sure we will be back here"

"Ghana is a big country and there are so many cities with stadiums and we must take the national team to all because the Black Stars is for every Ghanaian" he added.

Ghana beat the Bafana Bafana of South Africa by two goals to nil with goal from Thomas Partey and debutant Mohammed Kudus.
