Jordan Ayew has backed his Crystal Palace team mate Wilfred Zaha to come good after somewhat difficult start to the season.

Zaha has failed to discover his old form for Palace amidst a summer transfer where he was linked to moves to Arsenal and Everton but his club prized him out of all these moves.

Since then it appears the Ivorian's head has been turned and has not reproduced the goods as he has been doing in the past.

The good news for Palace is that unlike in the past where they team solely relied on Zaha, it has changed as other team mates like Ayew himself have stepped up.

Jordan believes his team mate is yet to explode for Crystal Palace and fans should be patient.

“Everybody knows the kind of player he is and the qualities he has got," says Ayew to the Mirror. "In football there are tough times and good times but none of them last forever, so you just ride it out.

"You can see the way he is playing it's just a matter of time before he starts banging them in."
