Former Black Stars goalkeeper Richard Kingson says he hopes to coach European giants Barcelona because he has the wherewithal to coach such a top side.

The former Birmingham, Wigan Athletic goalkeeper after hanging his gloves has ventured into goalkeeping having served as the goalkeepers trainer for the Black Stars and several other Ghana Premier League sides.

Kingson who is yet to handle any side after his coaching badges says he does not even dream of handling the Black Stars as it is a relatively easier job and dreams of coaching Barcelona.

According to Kingson, coaching the Black Stars is like handling a second or third division side.

“Coaching the Black Stars is something like coaching second division, third division. I want to coach Barcelona because I know I have what it takes to do it.

“So coaching Black Stars is not something extraordinary,” the former goalkeeper told 3Sports in an interview.

The 42 year old former goalkeeper had stints in Turkey with various clubs, played in England and Greece.
