A former Board Secretary of Accra Hearts of Oak, Ernest Thompson has advised Ghanaians to be patient with the new leadership of Ghana Football Association under the stewardship of Kurt E.S Okraku.

According to Mr. Thompson we must all realize that running the GFA is a process and it will take time and we should not expect results overnight like its an event.

"I think we all have to bare in mind that it is a process not an event right so it is too early to pass judgement on anything." he told Kumasi based Akoma Fm.

"They have started a process so lets have patience and see how the process rolls of course everything cannot be perfect from the beginning."

The Former Hearts of Oak board secretary and legal brain advised the new GFA to realize that they are there on a brand building mission.

He also urged them to appoint people with football experience and If possible go outside the spheres of the game to appoint people who have the needed expertise to help rebuild the dented football brand.

"The confirmation of extreme ends, integrity and people that the public will have confidence in because bear in mind that is a brand building stage or rebranding stage."

"I will say that people with experience in football because that is very vital, people who have integrity and also people from maybe outside football who have brilliant ideas he can tap into". he advised.
