Ebusua Dwarfs were heading for a famous win against Ghana Premier League leaders Accra Hearts of Oak on Sunday after Dennis Nkrumah Korsah had given them a 1-0 lead in the 85th minute of the game.

The first half ended goalless with neither team unable to open the scores as they headed for a 0-0 drawn game at half time.

The home side thought they were heading home with all three points but a late late striker from Kwadwo Obeng junior during the last minute of time added one felt like a dagger in the hearts of Ebusua Dwarfs fans.

Captain of Evusua Dwarfs Dennis Nkrumah Korsah who scored the opening goal says that the draw against Hearts felt like a defeat with the way and manner it came.

Asked if the draw in the end feel like a defeat because of the manner it came, he said, “Definitely, we didn’t expect them to equalize at this point, we wanted to defend the one goal that we scored but looking at the time we scored compared to theirs it really feels like a defeat”

Ebusua Dwarfs with the  draw are lying 14th on the Ghana Premier League table with 38 points and will still need maximum points in their last two games to ensure safety.
