Arsenal's striker/winger Theo Walcott has written his name in the Guinness book of World records  for the highest altitude football dropped and controlled, following a successful attempt at the English Premier League club’s London Colney training ground.

Theo controlled a ball from a 34 metre crane drop, the previous record was 32 metres.

The challenge was also under taken by fellow teammates Laurent Koscielny, Francis Coquelin,  and Nacho Monreal, with only Theo Walcott managing to achieve the feat.
