Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey has unveiled the inaugural Thomas Partey Tournament, a youth football competition designed to uncover the next generation of football talent in Ghana.
The event, slated for December 2–5 at the Tuba Astroturf in Accra, is a collaboration between the Thomas Partey Foundation and JJ SPORTS.
Speaking on the initiative, Partey highlighted his vision to provide young players with a platform to shine.
"This is for the motherland; let’s discover and celebrate our future stars," he stated, emphasizing the importance of nurturing Ghana’s footballing potential.
What makes the tournament particularly exciting is the presence of scouts from eight European clubs, offering participants a rare opportunity to catch the eye of international football.
"My agent and top scouts from eight European teams will be in Ghana to scout the best talents," Partey shared, underlining the life-changing prospects the competition could bring.
Beyond being a tournament, the initiative reflects Partey’s dedication to youth development and giving back to his community.
“This is Thomas Partey’s tournament,” he said, expressing pride in creating a platform that combines competition with inspiration for young players dreaming of a professional career.
As the tournament approaches, anticipation builds for the action-packed event where raw talent, determination, and dreams converge to celebrate the future of Ghanaian football.
