Thomas Teye Partey has made an injury return to the Arsenal first eleven to face Tottenham Hotspurs in the crunch North London derby this evening.

The Ghanaian midfielder sustained an injury in Arsenal's three nil defeat at the Emirates Stadium before the November International break after sustaining a thigh injury.

Manager Mikel Arteta was coy after their 4-1 triumph over Rapid Vienna in the Europa League but did confrim that the Ghanaian will train with the team on Friday.

Arsenal have endured a terrible run in the English Premier League and pressure is mounting on manager Mikel Arteta  as results have not gone as wanted.

Despite scoring freely in the Europa League, it has not been same with the English Premier League as the gunners have toiled in attack.
