Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey delivered a commanding second-half performance in Arsenal’s 3-0 win over Preston North End, helping secure their place in the EFL Cup quarter-finals.
Originally on the bench, Partey was called upon by manager Mikel Arteta at halftime to replace defender Jurrien Timber.
His entry strengthened Arsenal's midfield, earning him a 7.1 rating for his sharp passing, ball control, and tactical insight.
Arsenal established control early, with Gabriel Jesus opening the scoring in the 24th minute, assisted by Jakub Kiwior.
Rising star Ethan Nwaneri doubled the lead in the 33rd minute, capitalizing on another key pass from Jesus.
