The agent of Black Stars midfielder Thomas Teye Partey has not been drawn on recent speculations surrounding the transfer of his client.

Partey has  in recent times been in a blistering form with some reports even linking the Athletico Madrid ace to a move to cross town rivals Real Madrid.

Thomas Partey's agent, José Daniel Jiménez, has admitted that there was no worries in relation to the Ghanaian midfielder's contract.

But Athletico Madrid are having sleepless nights that a club will swoop for their influential midfielder before his contract runs out in 2023 but his agent has played down those fears.

"We are very calm and doing what Thomas wanted to do, which was to play and be important. We're not going to spoil it with anything. We want to live in the moment, and whatever has to come will come", José Daniel Jiménez commented on 'Onda Madrid'

Lastly, the player's agent praised Thomas. "Now he is more mature and has more confidence, he dares to do more things and that is seen on the field. The fans hadn't seen what he is doing now, but those who work with him have seen it for years. He is in one of his best moments", he concluded.
