Former Communications Director of the Ghana Football Association(GFA), Ibrahim Saanie Daara has accused private investigation firm Tiger Eye P.I for willfully and deliberately trying to bring him down.

The investigative firm led by Anas Aremeyaw Anas accused the revered journalist of accepting bribe to help a player get national team favours.

The former BBC journalist was the Communications Director until an investigative documentary from Anas Aremeyaw Anas purported to incriminate him in a bribery scandal but after four years the revered journalist has been exonerated of any wrong doing.

According to Tiger Eye P.I, Sannie Daara received money to help then Hearts of Oak captain Thomas Abbey get a place in the CHAN team but from their own video recording the venerable Sannie Daara only told them to tell their player to work hard and he will be rewarded with a call up.

The Ethics Committee after four years, have exonerated the former Ghana FA Communications Director of any wrong doing.

Speaking in an interview with Hot FM, Sannie Daara revealed that he is still at pains with the events that happened because of Tiger Eye P.I and has given everything to God.

"Tiger Eye PI intentionally wanted to bring me down. I've been upright since childhood and I still feel that pains since they had wanted to disgrace me. This affected everything around me and I've leaved them all to God." he said

Following the purported exposé, Ibrahim Sannie Daara lost his job at the Ghana Football Association whiles it costs him a lot of damage to his hard earned reputation.
