There is a huge jostle for the vacant Medeama coaching job following the abrupt resignation of coach Samuel Boadu last week.

Several to coaches have expressed interest in taking over the vacant Medeama coaching job with the like of former Ghana assistant coach Ibrahim Tanko said to be among the contenders.

He is not the only person interested in the Medeama job as immediate past coach of Elmina Sharks Yaw Acheampong is also eyeing the Medeama role after parting ways with Sharks.

Coach Samuel Boadu after three eventful years at Medeama where he showed the whole world how talented he is as a coach unceremoniously resigned last week and is now heading to the capital to take over the Hearts of Oak hotseat.

Assistant coach of Great Olympics Yaw Preko is also in the offing and will not turn down the chance to be his own man while Techiman Eleven Wonders coach Ignatius Osei Fosu has also been linked.

Two foreign coaches who are very familiar with the local terrain namely Steven Polack and Frank Elliot Nuttal have all made their intentions clear about the Medeama job.

Medeama are expected a coach in the coming days as negotiations heats up.
