On Friday 18th November 2016, Total Ghana’s Finance and Accounts Manager, Madam Kwin Foumba Rose Spse Nkada Zogo was adjudged the Chief Financial Officer of the year in the Energy, Oil and Gas category at the 2nd edition of CFO awards held at Movenpick in Accra.

To top it all, TOTAL’s Finance team won the Best Finance team of the year (Bronze Category). These awards were presented by Hon. Mona Quartey, the Deputy Minister of Finance.

With over 28 years of experience and expertise working in the TOTAL group through France, Cameroon, Gabon, Congo and the Central African Republic, Madam Nkada has spurred her finance team on to attain excellence in running the affairs of the company which has ultimately contributed to the progress and strong presence of TOTAL in Ghana.

This is evident in Total Ghana’s recent award as 4th best company at the Ghana Club 100 awards for the year 2015, the Oil Marketing Company of the year in the Ghana Oil and Gas Awards (GOGA) and the Lubricant of the year award with their Total Quartz 9000.

Expressing her excitement on the awards, Madam Rose Nkada said ‘this award serves as an encouragement in particular to the Finance team as a whole to forge ahead in rendering high-level work and to Total Petroleum Ghana Limited in general. It is a delight to know that the individual and collective efforts we put in daily are recognized’.

Total Ghana, in line with the Total group’s strategic direction, continues to give strong career advancement opportunities to women.

The national recognition of their Finance and Accounts Manager is another feather in the cap of Total Ghana’s women empowerment initiative.
