In a recent development, TP Mazembe, a prominent Congolese Premier League club, has publicly disclosed that they have reached an agreement to terminate the contract of Ghanaian defender Ismail Abdul Ganiyu.

Ganiyu, who formerly captained Asante Kotoko, joined TP Mazembe in February of this year. Unfortunately, the collaboration did not unfold as successfully as both parties had hoped.

Moreover, TP Mazembe has taken proactive steps to prevent potential legal disputes, not only with Ganiyu but also with the former Wa All Stars (now known as Legon Cities) and Kotoko Ghana Premier League-winning captain.

A statement released by the club stated, "TPM is pleased to announce that agreements have been reached for the termination of contracts with two of its former players. The following are the details of these agreements."

According to the statement, "The club and Ismail Abdul Ganiyu have mutually signed a settlement agreement, effectively putting an end to any potential legal actions that could arise from either the player or the club within the realm of sports institutions. Both the Ghanaian defender and TPM have agreed to part ways amicably."

Concerning Youssifou ATTE, another former player, the statement revealed, "The player and the club have come to a mutually agreeable contract termination arrangement. The Togolese player departed Lubumbashi for Lomé on Monday, August 21st."

TP Mazembe extended their best wishes to both players, expressing their hope for successful and fruitful careers ahead.
